This year, CICF and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis offer authors a dual submission option. Accepted papers under this dual submission and review process will appear in a special CICF issue of JFQA.
The CICF and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis will offer authors a dual submission option by the same submission deadline of February 1, 2026, with no additional fee.
Papers submitted under the dual submission option will be jointly managed by JFQA managing editors Ran Duchin, Jarrad Harford, and Stephan Siegel together with the CICF program chair and co-chairs, Neng Wang, Lily Fang, and Dong Lou, who will serve as guest editors.
Papers accepted for publication under the dual submission option will appear as FirstView articles on the JFQA site as soon as they are accepted and will later be published in a special issue of the JFQA.
Authors must indicate if they are interested in having their papers considered under this dual-review option with the JFQA.
Papers submitted for dual consideration must not be under review at any journal (including the JFQA).
· A small number of dual submissions will be sent out for a formal referee report at no cost for this first round. Regular JFQA submission fees will apply to higher rounds (that is, in case of a “revise and resubmit”).
· Papers rejected at any stage of the dual-review process are not considered to have been “rejected” by the JFQA. Thus, authors are permitted to submit a future version of their paper to the JFQA without prejudice.
· Papers submitted under the dual-submission process may not be submitted to another journal (or the JFQA) until the author has been notified of the outcome of the dual-submission process.
· See the JFQA's dual submission webpage for details.
To submit your paper to the JFQA under the dual submission policy, please answer “Yes” to the question "Should this submission be considered for dual submission to JFQA?" on Conference Maker's CICF paper submission page.
